REIKI ORIGINATED IN JAPAN & CHINA…
..from the calling of the heart and soul, we are invited to journey back to our true self and come home to who we truly are. This practice was born from a deep calling of nature, the heart and the soul: the longing to reconnect with our true nature, our inner strength and the universal life energy that is always present within and around us. It reminds us of something we have never truly lost, a natural flow of love, life joy, life magic and connection that has always been part of our existence, from the very moment we are born.

It invites us to return to our own temple: our body, our mind and our heart. To listen again, to feel deeply, and to trust the intuition and wisdom that has always lived within us. Life is a continuous dance of change, growth, evolution and transformation. Just as everything in Nature is interconnected, a drop that is part of the ocean, the shadow existing alongside the light, we too are part of the greater whole. Through this experience, space is created to slow down, soften and reconnect with the unconditional and limitless life force energy that flows through all that exists.

WHAT & HOW DOES A REIKI SESSION LOOK LIKE?

During a Reiki session, I serve as a channel receiving pure medicine from Mother Earth and my Reiki teachers, allowing this unconditional life force, joy and love to flow through my hands to different energy centres within the body. Reiki life energy welcome everything that is currently present within you. Give it space, allow it to breathe, and release what you no longer need. Step fully back into life, more curious and open, while at the same time deeply connected to your softest and most powerful inner essence of being.

An in-person Reiki session lasts 60 minutes and consists of three parts:

• We begin with a meditation to ground ourselves in the present moment;

• Followed by the Reiki healing;

• And we close with time for reflection.

For women, there is also the option of a gentle head and shoulder massage at the end of the session (approximately 10 minutes).

The way this healing energy moves through the body, where it is received and what it awakens, is unique to each person and connected to where you are on your own life journey. That is why I create some space after for us to reflect together on what may have emerged during the session.
